• For the purpose of this disclosure, “teacher” is defined as a “returning teacher.”

Note:

• Salaries for new teachers are based on the faculty candidate’s level of education and relevant teaching experience. Increase in pay is available to faculty for educational advancement to a Master’s degree.
• Prop. 301 teacher bonus funding is not included in these calculations.

The table below indicates each academy’s average teacher salary for fiscal year 2024 as well as a calculation of total benefit expenditures as a percent of total salary expenditures at that academy. This means that for fiscal 2024 Great Hearts teachers received various employment benefits equal to 30-34% of their base salary.

Employee benefits include healthcare coverage, 401k matching (up to 2%), worker’s comp., and payroll taxes.
