Schlarmann is a National Merit Finalist and was chosen by Arizona State University for their National Merit College-Sponsored Scholarship. On her Senior Thesis, she “Passed with Excellence” on her paper and defense, receiving the highest marks possible on each. Schlarmann also was awarded the Da Vinci Award for her accomplishments in fine arts. Along with this award, she was also inducted in the Fine Arts Hall of Fame at the academy.

Chandler Prep SalutatorianNelson has been involved in the school community in many ways. As a Student Mentor and Peer Tutor, she is always looking to help the school community however she can. Her work can also be seen on the walls throughout Chandler Prep as she was a leading member of the Mural Club that painted the murals throughout the campus. She is also part of the Social Committee and the Mock Trial Team at school.  One of Nelson’s greatest accomplishments came on her Senior Thesis where she also “Passed with Excellence” on her paper and defense, receiving a perfect score on each.

We wish them both the very best on their college careers and future endeavors!
