The Great Hearts Institute is excited to announce that Kaminski will be sharing her knowledge of Singapore Math as part of the K-5 Workshop Track at the 2025 National Symposium for Classical Education. “I believe math can be accessible for everyone. I provide top-notch resources for educators of all kinds: teachers, homeschool families, and parents ensuring that every learner receives quality math instruction. I aim to make math more than just a subject – it’s a vital life skill centered around problem-solving.” Kaminski is a certified teacher who has trained schools all over the world in Singapore teaching first as a math consultant with Math in Focus and then with her own company, Math with Purpose. She is the author of Math in Focus 2020 Third Grade Teacher’s Edition and the co-author of Primary Mathematics 2022 Grades 2-5 Teacher’s Guides. Kaminski believes in providing customized professional development for schools to meet the needs of our diverse learners. The K-5 workshops will allow attendees to further immerse themselves in the theme: Cultivating Wonder. In addition to Kaminski’s interactive workshop on Singapore Math, there will be workshops based on K-5 History, Lesson Planning, Art, Penmanship, and more from several experts in the field including Christopher Reynolds and Andrew Zwerneman.
